Confucius The Pioneer of Chinese philosophy:

Confucius' social philosophy was substantially focused on the conviction of "ren," or "loving others'' while executing self-control. Confucius' bureaucratic ideologies were also considered a cornerstone of self-control. He emphasized that a leader must nurture self-discipline to stay humble and compassionate to his people, thus setting a sanguine paradigm by doing so. Leaders might coax their acolyte to follow the law, according to Confucius, by indoctrinating virtue and the unifying force of the sanctity of the ritual. 

Confucius' educational conceptual framework is based on the "Six Arts," which included archery, calligraphy, computation, music, chariot-driving, and ritual. The fundamental purpose of pedagogy, according to Confucius, was to edify people how to live with honesty. He endeavored to resuscitate the former Chinese credos of compassion, etiquette, and ceremonialism through his teachings.

Confucianism's core notion is the significance of having good idiosyncratic integrity, which can subsequently change the milieu around you through the hypothesis of "cosmic harmony."

Confucius' contemplation was that knowledge and reflection lead to virtue and that individuals who sought to dominate others must forge their discipline and moral authority. For abiding a peaceful existence, Confucianism believes in ancestor veneration and human-centered ethics. Confucianism is pre-eminent and viewed as an ethical canon for living a satisfactory animation and having a rectitude character.


The relationship

Social rituals, according to Confucius, are perceptible modus operandi of engaging with others. He emphasized that all and sundry of us have a meticulous contribution in each of our propinquity. We must be au fait of our mantles and how to carry them out in order to keep these partnerships bloomy. He identified the following as the five most cardinal connections in life:

  • Subject and ruler

  • Wife and husband

  • The father and the son

  • Brothers, older and younger

  • Both friends

As you can see, three of these connections are kindred, and all of them are hierarchical save the last. The family, heeding to Confucius, is the most important of all connections and forms the core of society.


BELIEFS

Confucius provided concise and sound advice.

Folks were encouraged to act with virtue, empathy, and fairness in their actions.

Confucius did not claim adulation for his sage advice but instead said it came from his scrutiny into the archaic.

Humans have a responsibility to safeguard the creation of God.


The Virtues (The Five)

  1. Jen- exemplifies friendliness, empathy, and generosity.

  2. Yi – righteousness, responsibility as stewards of environment and people.

  3. Li - bona fide behavior and propriety, reflecting your inner attitude through your actions.

  4. Chih – knowledge

  5. Hsin – sincerity and dependability

These qualities are imperative for everyone, but significantly for leaders.


On life-

Death and life have their determined appointments; riches and honors depend upon heaven.

It implies, "Life/death is predetermined; riches/honor are bestowed from up above." In other words, everyone stands or falls, but success is only awarded at the supernatural's choice in the interim.


On dedication-

Wherever you go, go with all your heart

When we vocalize that we should take our hearts with us everywhere we go, we mean that we should do everything with our whole hearts. When you put your heart and soul into something, you are almost sure to succeed in the long run.


On society-

To re-establish order, Confucius felt that civilizations needed to cultivate specific values such as loyalty, trustworthiness, and respect for elders. He thought that education might succour people to achieve these and other values.


On teaching-

He who asks a question is a fool for five minutes; he who does not ask a question remains a fool forever.

You might get some flak for asking the question, but it will pass quickly. You were a moron for a short period. But when would you have learned if you hadn't asked?

You'll be a fool for the rest of your life if you don't ask. You had a chance to find out the answer, but you squandered it. Perhaps you'll find out later, but at what cost? Do you want to be a halfwit for five minutes or the rest of your life?




On friendship-

A true friend is someone who thinks that you are a good egg even though he knows that you are slightly cracked.

A good friend will always be by your side no matter where you are. They know the worth.
