What is the Law of Attraction?

Law of Attraction is a philosophy that states that if a person focuses on positive thoughts, then he/she will attract positive things in life, but if the same person focuses on negative thoughts, then he/she will only attract negative things in his life. Some people usually do not believe in it, but most people tend to think that our thoughts are a kind of energy and if we focus on positive thoughts, then we can succeed in different aspects of our life such as health, relationships, and wealth.


There are mainly 3 laws of attraction which are mentioned below: -


 1. Like attracts like


 It states that people with the same mindsets attract each other which means that people with the same interests easily. This is why we have friends of the same thinking as us and people often marry the ones with the same backgrounds. It is often said that opposites, each other and no doubt it’s true as unlike poles of a magnet attract each other. But, being attracted to ones with a similar mindset is easy.

This thing holds the same for our thoughts, which means that people will have positive experiences attracts more positive things in life and vice-versa. 

2. Nature abhors a vacuum

This law states that if you’ll remove negativity from your mind, then you can make more space for positive thoughts because it is not possible to have an empty mind so it’s better to fill your mind with positive thoughts. This law is based on the law of thermodynamics, which states that it is not possible to have space as atoms would always fill up a particular space.

3. The present is always perfect 

This law suggests that you should always focus on improving your present rather than being unhappy about the flaws. You should always invest your energy in making your present the best. For example, you are doing a job you hate and you don’t want to do it further. Now think that you have to do the same job for the rest of your life. Then, the only choice left with you will be to master it, as you cannot change it. 


So, now you will focus on being the best at it and when you have mastered it, you will not be frustrated with it. This way, you can attract your dream job too, because your boss will recommend their best employee for the promotion and you will be that perfect fit!


How to Practice Law of Attraction?


As we have earlier discussed that having positive thoughts in mind would attract positive things in life but it’s not just about thinking. We have to put in the effort to make things work rather than only thinking. Here, are some of the ways through which you can start practicing the law of attraction to attract positivity in your life:-


1. Visualization 

Visualizing your desires to make them your reality is great. You can use your artistic skills to visualize your dream life or you can also make a vision board for yourself. This way, you can keep track of how far you came and how far you still have to go to achieve your dream life.

2. Gratitude

Journaling As earlier said like attracts like. So, if you will practice gratitude journaling and focus on positive things, then you’ll attract more positivity into your life.


3. Look for Synchronicities 


Synchronicities can be defined as those coincidences which can be seen as slightly miraculous. If you are getting recurring synchronicities related to your goal, this could mean that you are on the right track.


 4. Speak it into Existence 


Another great method to make your desires, your reality is waking up in the morning and speaking your desires aloud. If you are just a beginner, then this is a great way to start using the law of attraction.


5. Reframe a Scarcity Mindset 


When we don’t have something, and we want it, it is easy for us to get caught in the cycle of scarcity and if we focus on it, then this lack only increases. Instead, imagine yourself in the same situation you want to be in to attract positivity. You just need to trust the universe and keep doing what is needed to get your best life.


How to use the Law of Attraction to attract your dream life?


 • Career 


It is very important to know exactly what you want in your professional life to attract it. So, sit and jot down your career goals such as “I want to work with people with the same mindset as mine who would support my ideas”. But only writing won’t work, you need to take action and ask yourself that why you deserve a particular position/job.



 Wealth 


 It is very difficult to be financially stable, as being financially unstable would easily make you fall into the scarcity mindset. So, it’s important to focus on what you have rather than focusing on what you don’t to attract positivity into your life.

As we have discussed, that law of attraction is only about shifting your mindset from negativity and working on things to attract positive things into your life. It has no scientific proof, but many people have improved their lives by practicing the simple laws of attraction.
